Organic Gardening

a farwell to ogcfw "Tomato Man"

On June 2nd 2014 the members of Ogcfw had to say farewell to Sam Perez, long time member of OGCFW. Sam had been under the weather for sometime, but as a true gardener ( "tomato man" ) he made sure the peppers, cucumbers,And those well know Cherokee purple tomatoes were all planted . The Garden Angels and Mother Nature thank Sam by watching over his garden and the plants bow their heads to honor him with a bountiful harvest. His memory will always be with us in our hearts and on our minds every spring when we plant our gardens. Thank you for all your knowledge, laughs and friendship you gave us all.
